General Catering Assistant Part Time

Salary: Ark Inner London Band 1 pt 2 £27,735 (actual pro rata salary £17,841 gross per annum). 

Working Hours:  Term Time + 3 weeks 25 hrs per week

Location: Wembley, London

About the role:

We are now looking to appoint a dynamic and effective Catering Assistant, to work within our catering team helping to ensure that the kitchen hygiene standards are maintained throughout the school day.  Please refer to the information pack for more details regarding the role and working hours.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Right to Work in the UK
• Experience in a similar role within a school or the education sector (desirable)
• Able to help implement the necessary routines and patterns to establish good behaviour management within the school
• Able to contribute to overall school behaviour records and provide feedback
• Ability to deal with minor incidents, first aid, and the personal health and hygiene of students
• Strong communication skills with adults and children
• Highly organised and efficient; capable of multi-tasking and working at pace
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role
