We are looking for an outstanding, talented and inspiring Assistant Principal of Science to lead the department, to ensure every child is challenged to achieve their maximum potential. You will have passion, enthusiasm, alongside the skills and desire to develop and nurture every child in your care. You will deliver consistently excellent teaching and learning, to help all students to achieve excellent academic results.
The role will include teaching and co-ordinating the delivery of lessons across year groups, Years 7-13. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a large core department which is central to the success of our school.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have the Right to Work in the UK
- Have a UK teaching qualification such as PGCE; BEd or equivalent and hold QTS status
- Be an outstanding teacher of science or have the potential to become outstanding
- Be experienced in raising or the desire to raise attainment in a challenging classroom environment
- Have proven experience working or the desire to work successfully to raise attainment in Ks3 & 4 science.
