About The Role
Opportunity to join an ‘Outstanding’ all through academy specialising in mathematics and citizenship.

Location: Wembley, North-West London – excellent transport links (nearest station is Wembley Park)

Salary: Ark Inner London Pay Scale £39,379 - £62,500 + TLR 2C £8,278

Start date: September 2025

We are looking to appoint an ambitious and dynamic Head of Economics to deliver exceptional teaching, learning and leadership. Someone who committed to ensuring every student is challenged to achieve their maximum potential. You will deliver and oversee excellent teaching and learning to our large cohort of economics students to enable them to achieve excellent progress and outcomes.

You will join a cohesive team of staff and a highly regarded sixth form.

- be an outstanding teacher of economics
- a professional who can work in partnership with parents and other stakeholders
- be experienced in raising attainment for all students from their starting points
- have proven experience of working successfully with students of all abilities
- be able to show evidence of continually improving the teaching and learning of your subject through schemes of work and extra curricular activities
